Shardeum is an EVM-based, linearly scalable Layer 1 blockchain that uses dynamic state sharding to maintain low gas fees, true decentralization, and strong security, aiming to revolutionize blockchain scalability. The total airdrop allocation for these phases is 5,516,575 SHM, representing 2.22% of the initial SHM supply, distributed among 63,494 qualified wallets. Phase 1 rewards early contributors, including on-chain contributors, validators, and off-chain contributors who engaged in content creation, governance, and community activities. Phase 2 rewards Incentivized Testnet participants, including on-chain contributors and validators who participated in Atomium ITN Stages 1–4.
