Orbiter Finance has launched its governance and staking token, $OBT, as part of its move toward decentralization, allocating 22% of the total supply for an initial user airdrop. Eligible users must have participated in the protocol for at least two months since December 2021 and earned a minimum of 40 OPoints, determined by cross-chain activity. The total circulating supply at TGE is 2.8 billion $OBT (28%), with further utilities for $OBT governance and staking set to be revealed in February 2025.
