Midnight Network is a platform developed by Input Output Global (the team behind Cardano) that utilizes zero-knowledge proofs to provide rational privacy, enabling developers to build decentralized applications that protect sensitive commercial and personal data. The Midnight Glacier Drop has opened its claim portal for nearly 34 million eligible addresses across eight blockchain ecosystems to claim the NIGHT token. Eligibility was determined based on a snapshot taken just before 00:00 UTC on June 11, 2025, which required wallets to hold at least $100 in their native token. The drop consists of three phases: the Glacier Drop, open for 60 days from August 5 to October 4, 2025; the Scavenger Mine, an open, interactive event that begins after the Glacier Drop and lasts for 30 days; and the Lost-and-Found, which opens post-mainnet launch and runs for four years, allowing unclaimed Glacier tokens to be claimed in reduced amounts.
