Linea is a zkEVM Layer 2 rollup on Ethereum developed by Consensys, designed to provide scalable, Ethereum-equivalent infrastructure that burns ETH with every transaction to enhance the base layer's security and value. Linea Ignition sessions rewards are vested LINEA tokens earned by liquidity providers on protocols like Etherex, Aave, and Euler during each weekly session of the 10-week campaign (plus one extended session), calculated transparently via Brevis ZK proofs based on on-chain activity and distributed with 40% claimable immediately after each session ends and the remaining 60% unlocking linearly over 45 days.
